Spiral Galaxy (NGC 1365) is home to enormous star-forming regions. The blue and fiery orange swirls in this Hubble image show us where stars have just formed and the dusty sites of future stellar nurseries. The bright, light-blue regions on the outer edges indicate the presence of baby stars that formed from combining gas and dust in the galaxy’s outer arms.
