ᴀʟ-ᴋʜᴡᴀʀᴢɪᴍɪ | ꜰᴀᴛʜᴇʀ ᴏꜰ ᴀʟɢᴇʙʀᴀ Muhammad ibn Musa Al-Khwarzimi; being the mathematician who introduced the world to the concept of algebra. As he worked in the house of wisdom, he published his renowned book a̲̅l̲̅-k̲̅i̲̅t̲̅a̲̅b̲̅ a̲̅l̲̅-m̲̅u̲̅k̲̅h̲̅t̲̅a̲̅s̲̅a̲̅r̲̅ f̲̅i̲̅ h̲̅i̲̅s̲̅a̲̅b̲̅ a̲̅l̲̅-j̲̅a̲̅b̲̅r̲̅a̲̅w̲̅a̲̅l̲̅ m̲̅u̲̅q̲̅a̲̅ba̲̲̅̅l̲̅a̲̅ , from which the term aljebra was derived (al-jabar). Furthermore he introduced the hindu-Arabic numbers, whole numbers.
▪▪From History▪▪ Today on the 9th of October in 892 CE, the famous Islamic Scholar and collecter of Hadith Abu Isa Muhammad at-Tirmidhi died in Termez now (Uzbekistan). He was born during the reign of the Abbasid ruler al-Ma'mun in 824. He began the study of Hadith at the age of 20 and traveled widely in Khurasan, Iraq and Hijaz in order to collect the Hadith. Jami at-Tirmidhi is one of his most notable collection of Hadith. It contains roughly 4400 Hadith (with repetition) in 46 books and is considered to be one of the six canonical collection of Hadith (Kutub as-Sitta).
