Why are we like this? Why do we cling to one moment, one mistake, and reduce an entire person to it? Why is mocking someone's dignity so easy for us? People make mistakes, but we drag them back to their lowest and chain them there. We fear those who choose a different path. Why does it bother us when someone decides they don’t owe us access to their story? We label, We throw around cruel words and then hide behind the excuse,
"It was just a joke." when they don’t laugh, we call them sensitive, broken and the problem. Since when did refusing to laugh at your own dehumanization become a flaw?
I hope I really do
that people who thrive off humiliating others,
who find comfort in belittling someone’s pain find a special kind of hell.

It’s strange growing up knowing you were loved yet never really feeling it. And then later, as an adult you start noticing how hard it is to let that love in how closeness feels unfamiliar even overwhelming .
Love doesn’t feel warm it feels distant, heavy, and at times........ unbearable. When someone tries to love you fully without walls, you instinctively pull away. You keep realizing that the only kind of love you can handle is the one that stays just far enough to feel safe distant, quiet, and a little cold.
