1. پردہ کرنا: اگر کوئی محرم رشتہ حدود و قیود کا لحاظ نہیں رکھتا اور آپ کی عزت و عفت کو خطرہ لاحق ہے، تو شریعت میں اپنے آپ کو محفوظ رکھنے کے لیے پردہ کرنے کی اجازت دی گئی ہے۔ یہ حفاظتی اقدام ہے، نہ کہ قطع تعلقی کا ذریعہ۔
2. رابطہ محدود کرنا: اگر کوئی محرم رشتہ ذہنی یا جسمانی طور پر نقصان پہنچا رہا ہو، تو رابطہ محدود کرنا یا فاصلے رکھنا جائز ہے، بشرطیکہ اس کا مقصد اپنی حفاظت ہو نہ کہ نفرت یا بغض۔

نیندرتھال انسان 400,000 سے 40,000 سال پہلے تک یورپ اور ایشیا میں پائے گئے۔
یہ انسان ہومو ایریکٹس کے بعد آئے اور ان کا دماغی حجم ہومو sapiens کے قریب تھا، لیکن ان کے جسمانی ڈھانچے مضبوط اور دبے ہوئے تھے۔
نیندرتھال انسانوں کے بارے میں یہ بھی کہا جاتا ہے کہ وہ پیچیدہ اوزار بناتے تھے، شکار کرتے تھے، اور ممکنہ طور پر اپنے مردہ افراد کا احترام بھی کرتے تھے (یعنی دفن کرنا وغیرہ)۔
