Someone asked [Imam Bukhāri’s teacher] Abdullāh ibn Mubārak رح for advice so he said:
❝Abandon unnecessary looks [towards women] & you’ll be granted devotion..
Abandon excess talk & you’ll be granted wisdom..
Abandon excess food & you’ll be granted ability to worship more.❞
جب وقت ہی پر کام نہ آئے تو میرے یار
بے کار سب وضاحتیں، بے کار معذرت

Umar ibn al-Khattab رض reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
❝Do not exaggerate my status as the Christians have done with the son of Mary. Verily, I am only a servant, so refer to me as the servant of Allah and His Messenger.❞

The pharmaceutical companies woo doctors by giving them commissions & benefits for prescribing their medicines. Labs too promise cuts where doctors send patients for testing purposes even where it is unnecessary. No wonder that so many drug stores & labs have sprouted up all over the country as a steady flow of patients throng these places ...
The accuracy of some forms of testing cannot be denied, but the toll they take on a patient’s purse can't be ignored either.

وہ ﷺ جو مجھ میں سے نکل جائیں صفر ہو جاؤں
آرزو اب تو مظفر تو جو کوئی ہے تو یہ ہے
جتنا باقی ہوں مدینے میں بسر ہو جاؤں
