Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal رحمه الله was asked, “what is the distance between us and the Throne of Allah?” He replied, ❝A sincere dua from a sincere heart!❞
Among the infamies of the soul is its concern for sustenance even though Allah has guaranteed it for the individual, and its lack of concern for the work that Allah has made obligatory for him that no one else can do for him. This condition is treated by the individual knowing that Allah, the One who created him, has guaranteed for him sufficient sustenance; “Allah is He Who created [you], then provided for you.” (Quran 30:40) Just as one does not doubt His creation, one does not doubt His provision." [Musa Furber | 'Infamies of the Soul and Their Treatments'] ____ “My heart is at ease knowing that what was meant for me will never miss me, and that what misses me was never meant for me.”
Shaikh ul Hadith Hadhrat Moulana Muhammad Zakariyya said: "... Exercise extreme caution in regard to your actions. Do not become boastful over any action that you carry out (for everything you do is through the grace of Allah Ta'ala)."
The one firm upon their decisions for the sake of Allāh ﷻ will always keep you disciplined. Whenever it’s any other intention, you’ll always feel like creating excuses and not getting it done. Especially when it’s not for the sake of Allāh ﷻ.
"Whether you’re a generally calm person, floating unperturbed in a stream of tranquility, unaffected by the vicissitudes of life; a more reactive person awash in a river of agony and ecstasy, easily moved by every little change in your surroundings; or somewhere in between, the science behind interoception, grounded in the wiring of your brain, will help you see yourself in a new light. It also demonstrates that you’re not at the mercy of emotions that arise unbidden to control your behaviour. You are an architect of these experiences. Your river of feelings might feel like it’s flowing over you, but actually you’re the river’s source." Lisa Feldman Barretz | 'How Emotions Are Made'
اپنی زندگی کو بے ضرر بنانا عبادت کی ابتدا ہے اور اسے دوسروں کے لیے فائدہ مند بنانا انتہا ہے (واصف علی واصف) _____ When you think more about what you can give to others than what you can get from them, networking will seem less self-promotional and more selfless—and therefore more worthy of your time. https://hbr.org/2016/05/learn-to-love-networking
